Remote Rectifier Monitor

Click for larger image. NTG's Simplest and Most Cost Effective Rectifier Monitor
The NTG RMUvi remote monitor is a compact, easily installed cathodic protection rectifier monitor that provides reliable:

  • Readings of Rectifier volts and amps output
  • Alarms when volts or amps drop below or go above programmable alarm limits
  • Indication of power loss or power restoration to rectifier

WatchdogCP RMUvi Benefits

  • Eliminate travel to sites to perform rectifier readings
  • Better access and more data allows improved management of pipeline integrity
  • Maintain a reliable history of rectifier data
  • Expandable to monitor other pipeline assets and processes (valve position, pressure, flow, etc.)
  • Low monthly messaging costs

Reliable Operation in a Harsh Environment
Packaged in a rugged ABS enclosure, the RMUvi is designed to handle the harsh pipeline field environment. Its measurement circuits are relay isolated from the rectifier, structure, and ground bed, except when briefly connecting in order to take a reading. This dramatically reduces its vulnerability to lightning damage.

When properly installed, it is impervious to precipitation and harsh weather. Small, sealed, and unobtrusive, the RMUvi quietly does its job for years, with no maintenance required. The digital cellular antenna is built right into the unit.

Data is available around the clock from NTG's secure Pipeline Watchdog secure website. After securely logging in, a user can see, at a glance, the reading history and status of all NTG RMUs within their group. Reports can be run immediately or scheduled for monthly email delivery. They are easily imported into all popular CPDM software, including Bass-Trigon, or they can be printed for filing.
